A Public Policy Survey last year found 66 percent of Kentuckians considered themselves UK fans. Nineteen percent called themselves Louisville fans, for a total of 85 percent. That means Kentucky has about 3.8 million rabid basketball fans who are ready to support an NBA team in Louisville.
